T-Slam

T-Slam is an influential Israeli rock band, founded in 1979 by Danny Bassan, Yizhar Ashdot, and Yair Nitsani, and disbanded in 1983.

In 1981, the band released their first and most successful album "Radio Hazack" ('Loud Radio'), the name of one of the band's most successful hits. This album led the band and its songs to win the titles "Band of the Year" and "Song of the Year".

Other hits of the band were successful such as "Meachnim Beyahad", "Tnu Li Rock'N'Roll", "Leerott Otah Hayom" and "Kesheat Boha at Lo Yafa".

In 1990, the band reunited and toured successfully from the 2000s until today. However, it never announced its official and final split.


T-Slam is considered one of the greatest rock bands of all time in Israel and competed with Benzin also popular in the first half of the 1980s.
